Just takes a couple tree stumps to create lovely seats, tables, plant stands or art for your room or hearth.

Once the bark is removed the gorgeous wavy wood grain is exposed then highlighted with a  couple coats of poly. The images on top are painted and coated as well.

These work equally well as art pieces on their side or setting upright.

This Garden Angel will happily wait inside your house until you are ready for her to adorn your garden

Painted wooden plank with corrugated tin wings will charm your flowers, veggies, friends & family come spring. Designed to easily 'plant' in your garden.

Starts with an idea and a sketch. Then a charcoal transfer.
Finishing with colorful outdoor paint and poly.

Hand held Christmas

Lovingly used and reused through the years, these antique wooden spools and needle cases are now fashioned into keepsake ornaments.

They were found in the drawer of an old sewing machine I bought long ago and I felt if someone else had held on to them all that time, they needed a home that would have meaning.

Cross body study in blue

Fun custom project using cotton upholstery fabrics.
Flap with magnetic snap and two interior zip pockets.

Adjustable cross body strap allows use over the shoulder,
or around waist due to clips.

8"x9" bag holds all the essentials without being overly large.

Upholstery fabrics provide so many unique & unexpected patterns
that work great with purses, totes, aprons and more.

Really makes each item one of a kind.

Baby 'toss down' Story Quilt

This story quilt is divided into quadrants: Imagination, Outdoors, Stories/Words, Science. The fabric designs inspire the stories.

It is an easy size to toss down on the floor while you are
juggling your little one. And while your sitting and playing
you can look at the images and think up tales to tell.

All cotton fabric and batting is prewashed and ready to go.

Let's play!

If variety is the spice of life, keep creating!

Art using vintage shutter slats to give direction.
Funky sock monsters that are soft, squeezable, hilarious ( & looking for a little hug)
And a new crop of hand dolls to delight.

{ animals are irresistible }

Excited to start a project that mixes paints & fabric

It all starts with a pencil sketch on primed cotton canvas.

Then layering watercolors until they feel "right" with the images.
Whimsical colors and design to appeal to everyone.
Next the art is stitched to a canvas back and cotton batting is added.
Final step is adding the perfect comment to the back.
You have a hand sized doll to give inspiration,
a laugh, comfort or whatever is needed.

Done and done!

Crazy how handcrafting can go in so many directions!

Take a gander & enjoy ~

Some new fabulous denim full aprons, unique utility aprons... so practical and great looking. Gorgeous dress forms for decor or draping your favorite accessories on. Felties!
